Catch & Carry Rugby Academy is a specialised space for rugby players of all levels from aged 12 and above to heighten their performance through advanced training which gets every player the opportunity to improve their ability on the pitch. We specialise In providing coaching that focuses on refining all skill from basic up to elite skill sets.
Our Vision
Compete – Once attending your first few CC academy sessions, dependent on your goals and output you will be redirected to a course that better suits you, invited to the same course at a reduced rate or selected to proceed to trials for the CC 7s team.
We pride ourselves on producing the rugby players of the future and recognise there are minorities that are not getting exposed to the high level of training that many others are privileged to be a part of.
Where It All Begins (Find Us)
Launching our first sessions in June 2024 at a pitch near you. With more bases due to be set up in and around greater London, there will be a facility not far from your reach to access and attend a Catch & Carry session where you will be able to train to gain.
Catch & Carry Team (Join Us)
We provide specialised Coaches, who have previous on field rugby experience as players in either the 7s or 15 circuits. Every Coach will have a designated, Head Coach First Aider & safeguarding officer. Our team of vetted Volunteers are growing, and they consist of players who are also either past or present senior rugby players keen to contribute their knowledge and expertise back to those that need it to elevate their level of play. Talyena Brown is a current club and international rugby player for Jamaica who has significant multi-discipline experience in Rugby League, Rugby Union and NWFL.
She brings a wealth of knowledge to our academy, and is dedicated to helping young players develop their skills and achieve their goals.
