Female Flames – Putting Females First
The Catch & Carry Rugby Academy aim to normalise female matches being the main event. Empowering women to come together for rugby and show it is as intense, fierce and as entertaining as the men’s game. CC Academy want to be the first to host all female only events. Promoting female participation in rugby; from 7s up to 15s matches. Using only females to referee, coach, manage and maintain (S&C / first aid) the events mirroring the standards males have shown in past events and tours. The ‘Female Flames’ is a specialised space that elevates the female rugby players to equal footing as the men, providing female only tournaments, training camps, pathways, and coverage.
Once attending your first few CC academy sessions, dependent on your goals and output you will be redirected to a course that better suits you, invited to the same course at a reduced rate or selected to proceed to trials for the CC 7s team.
We pride ourselves on producing the rugby players of the future and recognise there are minorities that are not getting exposed to the high level of training that many others are privileged to be a part of.
